Monica Healey: Making a Difference at Opengate for Over 40 Years

Join us in congratulating Monica Healey on her promotion to chief compliance officer! Monica Healey has been a dedicated member of the Opengate team for over 40 years. She joined Opengate in 1982 to develop the recreation department. Since then, she has held many roles with the organization, including recreation director, residential director, coordinator of consumer programs, senior corporate compliance specialist, and now chief compliance officer and member of the leadership team.

During her tenure at Opengate, Monica has had the opportunity to work with Opengate’s past CEO, Brian Hulten, and Opengate’s current CEO, Chris Laubis, on the oversight and expansion of Opengate’s programs. Monica is dedicated to helping fulfill Opengate’s mission of providing innovative programs for the extraordinary people we support. 

Monica’s years of experience with the people supported at Opengate, and the relationships she has built with their families and the Opengate team, will help her succeed in this important role.
