Opengate will provide transportation shuttle from Goldens Bridge Metro-North train station to our Somers facility. This service will be provided from Monday – Friday for day and evening shifts.

Up to $1500 sign on bonus! Opengate is seeking a Registered Nurse. Responsible for overseeing comprehensive health care for each individual in the residence and for ensuring that direct support professionals provide adequate health care for the consumers.
- Administers treatments and/or medication as ordered by a physician.
- Evaluate the individual’s physical conditions.
- Reviews all health care and related materials; record notes and findings on health care records.
Technical expertise in rendering nursing care; ability to report and record results of activities; ability to work as a team member; good oral and written communication skills; driver’s license; flexible schedule; experience working with the developmentally disabled.
Licensure and Employment Requirement:
Certification by NY State Education Department as a Registered Nurse. Minimum 2-3 years’ RN experience. Working with a developmentally disabled population is preferred. EOE, Smoke Free Environment

A residential facility located in Northern Westchester seeks a caring & dedicated individual to insure that developmentally disabled adults receive quality services, provide direction, and supervision for staff assigned to the residence. Must have good interpersonal and administrative/supervisory skills. Responsible for insuring that regulatory requirement pertaining to the operation of an IRA residential program is maintained. 2 years of supervisory experience & 2 years working w/a DD population + a clean, valid NY driver’s license required. Lead Counselor – Gray ICF and Lehr ICF
SCHEDULE: Full-time; 40 hours per week (Wednesday – Saturday)
DUTIES: This position assists with the direct supervision of the residential staff and works closely with the residents. The Lead Counselor is responsible for ensuring that staff is performing their assigned tasks/responsibilities. Additional duties include attending IDT meetings, data collection and documentation, report writing, observing resident behavior, and establishing a growth producing rapport with residents, staff and families.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have the ability to work in a community setting providing instruction and guidance to adults with developmental disabilities. Candidate must successfully complete CPR/First Aid course and SCIP-R training. Candidate must be in good standing. Must have knowledge of programs and treatments available for individuals with developmental disabilities. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with the individuals served, their families/advocates and governmental regulatory agencies. Must have good writing and organizational skills. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
This position reports to the Residence Manager, and is classified as non-exempt in accordance with FLSA guidelines.
