SIGN-ON BONUS (up to $600.00). Opengate is seeking caring individuals to assist developmentally disabled adults to lead fruitful and independent lives at various locations in Northern Westchester. We provide a competitive starting salary including paid training. Various shifts available. HS Diploma/GED and NYS driver’s license required.
Opengate will provide transportation shuttle from Goldens Bridge Metro-North train station to our Somers facility. This service will be provided from Monday – Friday for day and evening shifts.
LPN Per Diem
SIGN-ON BONUS OF $500. Opengate is seeking a full-time LPN with a minimum 1 year experience preferably in Developmentally Disabled field.
Trainer Developmental Disabilities (PT) – 24 hours
Must be able to speak in front of a crowd, produce and understand training materials. Conduct/coordinate ongoing in-service training programs for employees to ensure that they are familiar with the tasks they are required to perform. Must be certified as an instructor by the American Red Cross in 1st Aid and CPR, and as a SCIP trainer by NYS OPWDD within 6 months of employment. Gives clerical/administrative support to Training Coordinator. Serves as back up to Training Coordinator as needed. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree and training experience is preferred. Knowledge of Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and Justice Center regulations preferred. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Residential Program Coordinator
Opengate is seeking a Full-Time Residential Program Coordinator to oversee community based IRAs. Responsible for direct supervision of Residence Managers with oversight of all Direct Support Professionals. Job responsibilities include: program operations, all aspects of staffing: coverage, hiring evaluations, disciplinary process and training. Must be able to be a team player, with a positive attitude and strong moral compass. Must possess ability to build a team that will enhance the lives of the individuals we serve. Must be flexible for on-call, including evenings and some weekends. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have good interpersonal and administrative/supervisory skills. Must be proficient in computer systems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and 3 years’ experience supervising and 3 years’ experience working with a MR/DD population. Must have a clean Driver’s License issued by New York State. We provide a competitive starting salary with excellent benefits including a 401k plan. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Opengate not-for-profit residential, day program, and community-based services provider supporting adults with developmental disabilities, including those who may also be behaviorally challenged seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Candidate will be responsible for providing high quality, person-centered Behavioral Support Services. In addition, the BCBA is responsible for coordinating and delivering staff development/training on related behavioral support and intervention plans. The BCBA works with other behavioral support staff as well as the interdisciplinary team. Professional Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Certification must be maintained throughout employment. Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field. Experience in utilizing evidenced-based practices (Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Support, etc.) Ability to obtain certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) and/or Professional Crisis Management (PCM) or another type of intervention technique. Must have a clean and valid NYS driver’s license.

Responsibilities: Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion. Estimate time and extent of repairs. Perform routine preventive maintenance. Maintain material and supply inventory. Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary. Qualifications: Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. Ability to handle physical workload. Deadline and detail-oriented.
