Opengate will provide transportation shuttle from Goldens Bridge Metro-North train station to our Somers facility. This service will be provided from Monday – Friday for day and evening shifts.
Licensed Practical Nurse

Up to $1500 sign on bonus! Opengate is seeking a Registered Nurse. Responsible for overseeing comprehensive health care for each individual in the residence and for ensuring that direct support professionals provide adequate health care for the consumers.
- Administers treatments and/or medication as ordered by a physician.
- Evaluate the individual’s physical conditions.
- Reviews all health care and related materials; record notes and findings on health care records.
Technical expertise in rendering nursing care; ability to report and record results of activities; ability to work as a team member; good oral and written communication skills; driver’s license; flexible schedule; experience working with the developmentally disabled.
Licensure and Employment Requirement:
Certification by NY State Education Department as a Registered Nurse. Minimum 2-3 years’ RN experience. Working with a developmentally disabled population is preferred. EOE, Smoke Free Environment

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Opengate not-for-profit residential, day program, and community-based services provider supporting adults with developmental disabilities, including those who may also be behaviorally challenged seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Candidate will be responsible for providing high quality, person-centered Behavioral Support Services. In addition, the BCBA is responsible for coordinating and delivering staff development/training on related behavioral support and intervention plans. The BCBA works with other behavioral support staff as well as the interdisciplinary team. Professional Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Certification must be maintained throughout employment. Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field. Experience in utilizing evidenced-based practices (Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Support, etc.) Ability to obtain certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) and/or Professional Crisis Management (PCM) or another type of intervention technique. Must have a clean and valid NYS driver’s license.

Must have good interpersonal and administrative/supervisory skills. Responsible for ensuring that regulatory requirements pertaining to the operation of an IRA / ICF residential program are maintained. 2 years of supervisory experience & 2 years working w/a DD population + a clean, valid NY driver’s license required. This position is responsible for performing general, routine maintenance tasks on the properties and grounds that are managed by Opengate. Such tasks may include: routine plumbing, carpentry, electrical, masonry, plastering and painting tasks as assigned. Grounds keeping tasks may include snow removal, lawn and shrub maintenance. Pick up maintenance supplies as necessary. May be required to move furniture or office equipment. Pick up rubbish and garbage on a daily basis. Must have knowledge of the building maintenance trades, and one-year experience as a maintenance worker. Conduct maintenance and safety inspections of Opengate’s property, as assigned, to insure there aren’t any safety and health violations. Assist Facilities Director by troubleshooting phones/computer issues & delivering supplies to various locations. Hours are Monday – Friday (8am – 4pm) with some on/call responsibilities.
