Each year Opengate residents look forward to the Annual Awards Day Luncheon. It’s a day when everyone dresses in their finest and are recognized for the accomplishments of the year.
Residents and their families, along with Opengate staff members and board members attended the luncheon at Ceola Manor in Jefferson Valley on Sunday, June 11th where the food was exceptionally good and the atmosphere was festive.
Awards are given for individuals’ progress in Plant Care, Gardening Skills, Socialization Skills, Advocacy Skills and Leadership Skills. It’s also a time when everyone can socialize, dance, and have a fun afternoon.
Chief Executive Officer Brian Hulten and Chief Operating Officer Randi Rios-Castro spoke to the audience about the year’s achievements and how proud they are of all the accomplishments.
Opengate was proud to honor residence manager, Nicole Martin, with our 2017 Scholarship Award.
