What can I do, you ask?

wishlist1

Often individuals inquire about how they can help the mission of Opengate. While we are consistently in need of operating funds due to government funding cuts and policy changes, there are always smaller needs for our consumers and staff to fulfill.

We were able to purchase some tablets for our staff and residents due to the generosity of a few donors and we are grateful to each of you, however, we are continuing our campaign to generate funds to purchase several more. Tablets have already begun to streamline the reporting process for our staff members who have them, as well as bring added enjoyment to residents.

Along with more tablets, we have a list of items that we feel will enhance the enjoyment of individuals we serve. If you are able to donate any of these items, or the funds to purchase, please contact Randi Rios-Castro at randir@opengateinc.org or call (914)277-3661

Opengate’s Wish List

If you feel you are able to make any of these items available, or perhaps you have contacts with businesses who would be willing to donate the items on the list, please let us know.

As we expand our list of potential donors and partnerships with Opengate, we call on you to assist us. Talk about your experience with Opengate to your circle of friends and family, introduce them to us and let us show them how we are able to continue our mission to effectively provide resources to the individuals we serve. We welcome and appreciate all new possibilities.
